I have worked off the coast of Taiwan and Alaska studying rare deep sea sharks including the Megamouth Shark and the Sleeper Shark. The videos below are excerpts from documentaries that I have co-produced.

TAIWAN

This is a trailer for a film I am working on documenting my research and conservation efforts with Megamouth Sharks off the coast of Taiwan.

ALASKA

In 2020, I worked with a team of researchers to tag a sleeper shark in the waters off the coast of Alaska. We documented it and made it into an episode for Discovery Channel’s Shark Week. I pitched and co-produced the show. Here is a clip from that show, Alien Sharks: First Contact.

For my research, I use underwater cameras with bait attached to them (to attract sharks and large fish). Here is footage I captured of a sleeper shark in the waters of Alaska in 2020 using one of my baited camera rigs (also called BRUVs- Baited Remote Underwater Video).
